1 in 4 women and 1 in 10 men report pelvic floor dysfunction. Pelvic floor dysfunction is a broad term referring to pelvic floor symptoms and anatomical changes such as urinary, anal, and fecal incontinence or leakage, urinary urgency prolapse, pelvic pain, etc.
Pelvic floor problems may be common, but they are not normal and we can address them to improve quality of life and overall fitness.
Come to our Pelvic Floor 101 Workshop to learn about pelvic floor anatomy, how the pelvic floor functions during daily activities, weightlifting, running and jumping, and how we can approach exercise to support the pelvic floor and minimize symptoms.
This workshop is open to everyone - male, female, pregnant, post-partum, etc!
