Why we started OPAL

Too many active adults are told to rest, ice, and hope the pain goes away. That approach might work short-term, but it doesn't teach you how to move correctly or prevent the next flare-up. We built OPAL to offer something different: one-on-one coaching that helps you understand your body, retrain movement patterns, and build the durability you need to keep lifting, running, and training as you age.

Our Approach

One-on-one care that looks beyond the painful area

We don't rush you through a treatment table rotation or hand you a generic exercise sheet. Every session is dedicated time with an orthopedic manual physical therapist who takes a full-body approach to understanding why pain keeps showing up and what it will take to move forward with confidence.

Fellowship-trained expertise

Our lead physical therapist is fellowship-trained in orthopedic manual physical therapy (FAAOMPT) and dry needling certified.

Movement retraining focus

We teach you how to move correctly so improvements stick beyond your sessions with us.

Long-term support model

We work with clients over weeks and months to build resilience and prevent recurring injuries.

Transparent pricing

Cash-based and out-of-network. We accept HSA/FSA and provide itemized receipts for potential reimbursement.

Her career began in the world of dogs where she became a CPDT-KA dog trainer and earned certifications in pet nutrition and herbalism. Her passion for holistic wellness led her to OPAL - a place that shares her values and approach to care.

Now living in Colorado Springs, Natalie spends her free time running, hiking, camping, playing disc golf, or doing dog sports with her partner, Matthew, and their dog, Ruby.

What clients say about working with us

Hear from active adults who move with confidence now.

Morgan is the absolute best!!! I have been seeing her on and off for a few years to treat various areas of my body that have developed painful imbalances over time. Morgan’s knowledge and guidance has completely changed the way I move through life. I can’t imagine trusting my health with any other PT. She’s also just a downright amazing human being.

I went to Dr. Morgan early in my training for my first 50k. I came to her with plenty of little issues over the course of the training, but she helped make sure that none of them became big problems. She developed a mobility and strength program that got me to the start line and through the race. I never would have made it through my first 50k without her help!

Opal is the best!

I've worked with Opal for 9 months and recommend them wholeheartedly. Dr. Riggins has fixed my problems and taught me how to get stronger so they won't come back. It's especially difficult to find a physical therapist who understands the issues that folks who run might face and who take the time to unravel problems and address them at the root. If that's what you're looking for this is your team.
Chris Richardson
Dr. Morgan is extremely knowledgable and an excellent teacher. She identified issues with my squat form that have been bugging me for years and taught me how to engage my glutes. Super happy and grateful I was able to see her at Opal!
Samuel Brown

Magda was fantastic! She was able to pin point my sciatic pain, explained why it was happening and after one session my pain was gone. So worth it!

It’s been great working with the team at Opal! I started with Dr. Morgan and now I’m working with Dr. Magda. Everyone on the team is knowledgeable and truly cares about how you can move your body in the most efficient way for you. It’s all about helping you connect your mind to your body as you’re going through the movement! I now know how to properly activate my glutes! 😂

The OPAL team and Dr. Morgan are absolutely awesome. They have helped me correct so many physical issues I have had, some dating back over 10 years. I had instant relief with several nerve issues and ones that I had almost given up on. I cannot begin to express my gratitude for the help. Simply the best in the business and happy to have them in my corner!!!
