Dry Needling in Pflugerville, TX

Release the Tension. Rebuild the Movement.

Dry needling at OPAL targets trigger points and restricted tissue to reduce pain, improve mobility, and create the foundation for lasting movement change.

For active adults who want more than surface-level relief

You have stubborn tightness that stretching can't fix

You've been stretching and foam rolling for months, but the tension keeps coming back. Dry needling targets the source at a deeper level.

You've tried PT or massage but keep hitting the same wall

Massage and standard PT gave temporary relief, but the same areas keep locking up. Dry needling targets what those approaches left behind.

You want targeted relief built into a real movement plan

You want dry needling done by a certified physical therapist, integrated into a real plan — not just isolated as a single-session fix.

Morgan is the absolute best!!! I have been seeing her on and off for a few years to treat various areas of my body that have developed painful imbalances over time. Morgan’s knowledge and guidance has completely changed the way I move through life. I can’t imagine trusting my health with any other PT. She’s also just a downright amazing human being.

Decided to visit after seeing amazing improvements in my wife's movement post shoulder surgery. As someone with poor luck with masseuse experiences and reasonable activity, Dr Morgan was able very quickly stablize an issue that had tingling and pain shooting from my shoulder to my fingers. Through a methodical approach that was catered to my lifestyle, I was able to get to a pain and symptom free life again. Very greatly to have found Opal and Dr Morgan

Frequently Asked Questions

Learn how dry needling works at OPAL and what makes it different.

Do you take insurance?

We're cash-based and out-of-network. We provide itemized receipts for potential reimbursement and accept HSA/FSA. Payment plans are available.

Is dry needling the same as acupuncture?

No. Dry needling is a PT technique targeting trigger points and restricted muscle tissue. It's distinct from acupuncture and is applied within the context of physical therapy to support movement retraining.

Can I come in just for a dry needling session?

We don't offer single-modality visits. Dry needling is one tool within your PT plan, and lasting results come from pairing it with movement retraining, not using it in isolation.

Does dry needling hurt?

You may feel a brief twitch response or mild soreness during and after treatment. This is normal and typically resolves within 24 hours. Most clients notice improved movement soon after.

How does dry needling fit into my overall plan?

Your physical therapist integrates dry needling to reduce tissue restriction and calm overactive muscles before movement training. It's one targeted tool within your broader PT plan.
